The European football championship, originally called the European Nations Cup, was renamed UEFA™ European Championship in 1968 and is now commonly referred to as “The Euros“, typically along with the relevant year, e.g. Euro 2016. This ADDucation all-time football list shows all the countries which have won the European football championship along with the runners up. The next European football championship tournament will be held in France between 10th June and 10th July 2016.

* In 2012 it was decided to hold Euro 2020 across different European cities. The 2020 European football championship semi-finals and finals will be played at Wembley Stadium, London, England.
