On 25 April 2021 the 93rd Academy Awards ceremony, for films made during 2020, were presented at the Union Station and Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, USA. The best actor Oscar winners Academy Award is one of the most prestigious of all the Oscar awards so competition is fierce. Every year the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) presents the prestigious Academy Awards to Oscar winners at venues near Hollywood in California, USA. Since 1935, the awards have been presented for films released in the preceding year.
