The Voice was created by John de Mol who has created and/or produced a string of popular game and reality TV shows around the world including Big Brother, Deal or No Deal and Fear Factor. The show is split into three sections: blind auditions, followed by head to head battle rounds and finally live performance shows where the public vote decides The Voice winners.

Won Choice TV: Breakout Show in Teen Choice Awards 2011, Best Reality Series – Competition in the Critics’ Choice Television Awards 2012, Best Music Reality Show in Billboard’s Mid-Year Music Awards 2012 and 2013, Outstanding Reality Competition Program in Primetime Emmy Award 2013, Favorite TV Competition Show in People’s Choice Awards and Outstanding Producer of Competition Television in Producers Guild of America Award 2014.

He went independent with his own label in 2006 before winning the first series of The Voice USA
Season 2 2012 Jermaine Paul 1979 Blake Shelton Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera. Jermaine Paul was co-nominated at the 48th Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance in a collaborative work with Alicia Keys. He covered I Believe I Can Fly to win The Voice which reached number 83 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Season 3 2012 Cassadee Pope 1989 Blake Shelton Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera. Cassadee Blake Pope from West Palm Beach, Florida was lead singer of pop and rock band Hey Monday. After going solo in 2012 she was the first female winner of The Voice USA. Her debut country album Frame by Frame in 2013 debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Country Albums charts – which included the hit single Wasting All These Tears.
Season 4 2013 Danielle Bradbery 1996 Blake Shelton Adam Levine, Shakira, Usher. Danielle Simone Bradbery, from Cypress, Texas is the youngest contestant to win The Voice USA. She sings country and released her debut album on 25 November 2013 featuring the single The Heart of Dixie which reached number 12 on the US Country Airplay Billboard and 58 in the US Billboard Hot 100.
Season 5 2013 Tessanne Chin 1985 Adam Levine Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera. Tessanne Chin has supported Peabo Bryso, Patti Labelleand Gladys Knight. She toured with Jimmy Cliff for several years and her older sister is Tami Chynn.

Blake Shelton, Shakira.
Josh Kaufman is an American singer-songwriter based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He won with the song Set fire to the rain. He grew up in Florida and sang in an elite choir. Now a member of The New Etiquette rock/soul band.

Craig Boyd American country and country rock singer and songwriter. Also known as C-W-B. Born in Mesquite, Texas, USA. Biggest success to date is his single My Baby’s Got A Smile On Her Face which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.
Season 8 2015 Sawyer Fredericks 1999 Pharrell Williams Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton. Sawyer Fredericks is an American born contemporary folk singer born in Newtown, Connecticut, USA. Sawyer, just 16 when he won the show, broke The Voice records with 14 songs in the iTunes Top 200 Singles Chart during one week with sales approaching one million singles during his time on the show.
Season 9 2015 Jordan Smith 1993 Adam Levine Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton. Jordan Smith is a contemporary Christian and gospel singer born in Whitley County, Kentucky, USA. Reached number 1 on the iTunes Store pop songs list during the season and set new Billboard charts sales marks.

Alisan Porter is an American rock, pop and country singer, actress and stage performer born in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. As a child actor she appeared in Stella, Parenthood and I Love You to Death and played the lead in the film Curly Sue in 1991. As an adult she played in musical theater on Broadway in The Ten Commandments The Musical and released a solo album in 2009.
Season 11 2016 Sundance Head Blake Shelton Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys. Sundance Head is a singer songwriter, born in Porter, Texas. He was a semi-finalist on American Idol in 2007 and is the son of American singer Roy Head. Darlin’ Don’t Go was his winning song. He signed for Wildcatter Records in 2018.
Season 12 2017 Chris Blue 1990 Alicia Keys Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton. Chris Blue is a R&B, soul, pop and gospel singer born in Glendale, Arizona. He’s signed to Republic Records.
Season 13 2017 Chloe Kohanski 1993 Blake Shelton Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus. Chloe Kohanski aka Chloe MK is an American singer-songwriter born in Nashville, Tennessee and currently signed to Republic Records. As Chloe MK she released her debut single To Be Young in 2019.
Season 14 2018 Brynn Cartelli 2003 Kelly Clarkson Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton. Brynn Cartelli, born in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is the youngest ever winner of the The Voice aged 15. She’s a signer, piano and guitar player. She released her debut single Walk My Way in 2018 which reached number 3 in the digital charts.
Season 15 2018 Chevel Shepherd 2002 Kelly Clarkson Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, Blake Shelton. Chevel Shepherd is an American singer born in Farmington, New Mexico. She signed to Republic in 2018 and released Broken Hearts which reached number 24 in the US Country charts.
Season 16 2019 Madelyn “Maelyn” Jarmon 1992 John Legend Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton. Maelyn Jarmon is an American singer born in Frisco, Texas. She signed to Republic Records and in 2019 released Wait for You which reached number 24 in the US digital charts. She has since released five more songs the highest reaching number 6 in the US digital charts.

Broadcast on the BBC Channel. Nominated as Best Talent Show in the National Television Awards 2013 and 2014.

The single Lost Stars released after his win entered the UK Singles Charts at number 6 and topped the Scottish Singles Charts. Series 6 2017 Mo Adeniran 1995 Jennifer Hudson will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Gavin Rossdale. Mo Adeniran is an English R&B and soul singer born in Warrington, Cheshire. He won a recording contract with Polydor Records and released his debut album, titled Evolve, in 2018 which reached number 36 in the UK Album Charts.
Series 7 2018 Ruti Olajugbagbe 1999 Sir Tom Jones will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs. Ruti Olajugbagbe is an English pop singer and guitar player born in Southend-on-Sea, England. She won a recording contract with Polydor Records and released a cover version of  the Cranberries song Dreams which reached number 14 in the UK Singles Chart.
Series 8 2019 Molly Hocking Olly Murs will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones. Molly Hocking is an English R&B and soul singer born in St Ives, England. She won a recording contract with Polydor Records and released her winning single, a cover version of I’ll Never Love Again which reached number 73 in the UK Singles Chart.

Reached semi-finals of Australia’s Got Talent in 2008 when just 12. Her first album bombed. She then recorded together with will.i.am and Cody Wise.
Season 4 2015 Ellie Drennan 1998 Jessie J Ricky Martin, Delta Goodrem, The Madden Brothers Pop singer and songwriter from New South Wales, Australia. Her winning single Ghost reached number 25 on the ARIA Charts.
Season 5 2016 Alfie Arcuri 1988 Delta Goodrem Ronan Keating, Jessie J, The Madden Brothers. Pop, soul and R&B singer from Camden, New South Wales, Australia. His winning song Cruel peaked at 24 on the iTunes Australia chart and debuted at 89 on the ARIA chart, which reflected a bad song choice.
Season 6 2017 Judah Kelly 1996 Delta Goodrem Seal, Boy George, Kelly Rowland. Judah Kelly is an Australian pop, country and soul singer-songwriter born Townsville, Queensland.
Season 7 2018 Sam Perry 1990 Kelly Rowland Joe Jonas, Delta Goodrem, Boy George. Sam Perry is an Australian singer and looping artist, born in Perth Western Australia. After winning the show he signed for Universal Music Australia and released his debut single Trust Myself in 2018 which reached number 78 in the AIRA Charts.
Season 8 2019 Diana Rouvas 1984 Boy George Delta Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Guy Sebastian Australian singer songwriter Diana Rouvas, born 29 January 1984, won The Voice Australia in 2019 with coach Boy George. She previously finished fifth in 2012. Her debut single Wait For No One, earlier collaborations and attempts to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Content 2020 have not enjoyed much success.
Season 9 2020 Chris Sebastian 1988 Kelly Rowland Delta Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Guy Sebastian Australian singer songwriter Christopher Troy Sebastian, born 2 August 1988, competed in The Voice Australia in 2012 where he reached the quarter finals. He returned to win the ninth series in July 2020 with coach Kelly Rowland.
