The height of the these towers changes periodically when their radio radio masts and TV antennas are replaced so the exact towers often change and are often disputed. The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) decides. This list of the tallest structures in the world only includes free-standing structures, so tethered or guyed towers are not included
